Angels' Visits

WICCAMECUS will find in Norris's *Miscellanies*, in a poem "To the Memory of my dear Neece, M.C." (Stanza X. p. 10. ed. 1692), the following lines:— "No wonder such a noble mind Her way to heaven so soon could find: Angels, as 'tis but seldom they appear, So neither do they make long stay; They do but visit, and away." Mr. Montgomery (*Christian Poet*) long ago compared this passage with those cited by WICCAMECUS.
