Ballad on Jemmy Dawson

In the *European Magazine* for January, 1801, is a paper on the origin of Shenstone's ballad of *Jemmy Dawson*, in which the writer says,— "A ballad is said to have been cried about the streets different from Shenstone's, which we should be glad to see, if it is in existence." Does any of your readers know any thing about it? In the April number of the same volume is a ballad commencing,— "Blow ye bleak winds around my head," which is there said to have been the origin of Shenstone's ballad, but it is not the one cried about the streets.
