R. is enabled to inform Investigator (p. 108.) that the poems *On the Queen's Return from the Low Countries* and *On the Death of Sir Bevill Grenvill* were certainly written by Cartwright; the former having been originally printed, with his naine, in a collection of complimentary verses, in Latin and English, addressed to Henrietta Maria, entitled "Musarum Oxoniensium ἐπιβατήρια serenissimæ Reginarum Mariæ ex Batavia feliciter reduci publico voto D.D.D. *Oxoniæ, excudebat Leonardus Lichfield, Academiæ typographus*. 1643." 4°.
