In the *Biographie Universelle*, art. GROTIUS, it is stated that the following singular distich against the Synod of Dort was made in England:— "Dordrechti synodus, nodus; chorus integer, æger; Conventus, ventus; sessio, stramen. Amen!" Query, By whom was it made?
