(No. 14. p. 215.).—The work to which your correspondent alludes is, I presume, *Prutenicæ Tabulæ Cælestium Motuum, autore Erasmo Reinholdo*: Tubingæ, 1562. This work is dedicated to Albert, Duke of *Prussia*. In the dedication is the following passage: "Ego has tubulas *Prutenicas* dici volui, ut sciret posteritas tuâ liberalitate, Princeps Alberte, nos adjutos esse, et tibi gratiam ab iis, quibus profuturæ sunt deberi." Reinhold therefore called them Prutenie, i.e. *Prussian* tables, in compliment to the reigning duke. *Pruteni* is an ancient name of the Prussians. Albert (grandson of Albert…
